Supporting the fight against Prostate Cancer
We're proud to have assisted 20 local Bracknell residents in their 90 mile charity cycle ride in support of Prostate Cancer UK.
The event took place between Reading and Bristol along the Kennet and Avon Canal on Saturday 22 June 2019. The route saw the cyclists receive plenty of support from well-wishers along the way as they raced towards Bristol.
Limesquare's very own Donald Brecknock from our Bracknell office helped organise some of the logistics and was on hand in the support vehicle offering the cyclists refreshments every 10 miles to ensure the team were well energised. Donald said of the event: "It was a fantastic experience and we are chuffed that we were able to raise nearly double the £3,000 target originally set. It was challenging to get the van down some of the narrow lanes but we all won out in the end!"
Prostate Cancer UK is an incredibly worthy cause and we're proud of the team's achievements in raising so many donations that will help fund research efforts in the fight against the most common cancer in men in the UK. Congratulations to everyone involved!
